Meet sweet little Bailey Grace!!
Well, I was wrong. I had convinced myself and Stevie that Baby E was a boy! After a long week of anticipation, the big appointment finally came on Friday. However, our appointment wasn't until 1:30, so we had all day to wait. We knew what Baby E's name would be if it was a girl, but we were still debating on the boy name (another reason I was convinced it was a boy). We went to lunch before our ultrasound and spent the time discussing our boy name.
We were lucky we didn't have to wait too long before being called back. I was seriously about to pee in my pants because of all the water I had to drink beforehand...telling a pregnant woman she can't pee is very cruel. After sitting with a full bladder, the first thing the technician told me to do was empty my bladder....what the.... was that a mean joke or what?!? Anyways....she was very nice and talkative. She didn't make us wait until the very end until telling us the gender. Bailey was being shy at first, sitting cross-legged, but then she started stretching and doing her exercises (just like her mommy). She was moving all over the place. She even had her legs up by her head! It is amazing how active she was being and I couldn't feel any of it. <<<<<Rewind: Friday morning was the first time I felt her move. Stevie even got to feel her moving. Such an amazing and weird feeling>>>>>>>>>
Friday was definitely a day that will go down as one of the most memorable days in our lives. I am pretty sure Bailey is already got her daddy wrapped around her sweet little finger, and now he wants to buy a gun to protect her....geez.....
