week 11

I spy a little bump!!!!

How far along? 11 weeks and some days

Total weight gain/loss: with the amount of Easter candy and Easter food I consumed....I might get in trouble at the Doc's office...

Maternity clothes? no, but I am going to get them out of the attic soon!

Sleep:  My dreams....what. the . %&*!

Best moment this week:  Easter....Bailey was big enough to understand Easter egg hunts...we might have been practicing in the living room. Also, getting together with my family and see Bailey play with all her cousins.

And I ventured out Friday night, to do my Easter bunny shopping. I haven't been out and about past 7:00 in the evening in a very long time because Bailey goes to bed at 7:30....it was very surreal. I am pretty sure this is what it feels like when prisoners get out of jail. Not that I don't love my family, it was just very strange being out that "late"

Miss Anything? a normal looking, vein free, right leg...and that ice cold beer

Enjoyments:  Starting to feel like myself again and have some energy back!

Movement: No, but ready to feel it!

Food cravings: Salty things!! I may or may not have ordered Jimmy Johns vegetarian sub 3 times this week at work......and grapes

Anything making you queasy or sick: It is really hard to find things that actually taste good

Have you started to show yet: a little bump

Belly Button: Way in!!!!!

Signs of labor: No thank God!

Wedding rings on or off? a little loose...the only thing I wear that is loose...

Happy or Moody most of the time: moody

Prediction: I suck at predicting gender

Week 9.... No 10?

So I am due a week earlier than expected....so I basically time traveled somewhere.... Anyways, here is a look into week 9  10!

How far along? 9 or 10 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Dr. next week...guessing 3-5 lbs

Maternity clothes? not yet, but things are tighter than normal...

Sleep:  pretty good in between all the trips to the bathroom

Best moment this week:  everything my crazy toddler does!

Miss Anything? a cold beer

Enjoyments:  trying really hard to enjoy this pregnancy....its just not my thing!

Movement: I swear I already feel things but apparently it is too early

Food cravings: sweet tea! starting to get my appetite back

Anything making you queasy or sick: meat

Have you started to show yet: I am bloated in my belly and I can already tell a difference in my tummy

Belly Button: In!

Signs of labor: NO!!!!!

Wedding rings on or off? on and actually loose

4.05.2014

8 weeks

Thank God it is Spring Break!!!! However, with a toddler all my hopes and dreams of sleeping in and napping the day away were quickly shattered. We had a blast though! The weather was absolutely amazing. We went to the zoo, played outside non-stop, visited daddy at work, multiple lunch dates, and went to the aquarium....and still had a couple days of staying in our pjs all day!

My appetite was back with a vengeance this week, and I have been eating like a MAN! All I have wanted to eat has been cheeseburgers, french fries, mac and cheese, and ice cream! Needless to say, I made up for the few lbs lost last week plus some.....With Bailey, I stopped caffeine immediately, however, this time I cannot quit! Coffee and sweet tea are my weaknesses, and I literally wake up craving coffee and all day I crave sweet tea.....ya, ya, ya, I am aware they make decaffeinated, but that is like drinking non-alcoholic beer, where is the fun in that. Maybe next week, I will nix the caffeine ...or cut back.....

Like with Bailey, my skin is a hot mess, craving sweets, and my right leg is looking pretty rough with all my veins. Doc said it would happen quicker with this pregnancy, but I know it will go back to normal again.  Only working out I have accomplished this week has been pushing and carrying around Bailey. I did make it to a 75 minute yoga fusion class.....can I start prenatal yoga classes yet?!?

7 weeks

Early, yes, but I started posting at 7 weeks with Bailey, so I had to start for this baby, too!

I already feel pregnant, like 15 weeks pregnant. I have been more nauseous this go around than with Bailey. I actually had an awful stomach bug this week, and at first I thought this was morning sickness! I thought there is no way I can do this, but quickly realized this was more than a pregnant thing and after 24 hours was much better. Not much of an appetite due to the stomach bug, but I guarantee this will be the last time I feel "skinny" for awhile.  My energy is gone and the thought of working out gets overtaken by a nap. I did make it to a few spin classes.

Big News!

So, yes, we were trying, kinda..... You never know how long it will take to get pregnant, and we knew we wanted our kids to be semi-close in age. And let's face it, I just wanted to go ahead and get the pregnancy and newborn thing knocked out! I never dreamed it would happen in one month. I swear I am psychic because I knew immediately I was pregnant. I dreamed I was and had been feeling weird, so I took a test a couple days before "my week" and boom there it was +.... I was shocked, but not really...more shocked at my new ability to dream the future!
Knowing right away sucks, because it makes your pregnancy SUPER long and no ignoring it for a few weeks. And it was a Saturday, so my detox started immediately and therefore there went my Saturday night drinks! Guess I will be saving that 6 pack of seasonal Abita until November!

We told Bailey immediately, and it just so happened her new favorite word was baby, which quickly changed to BABIES! My first reaction was that Bailey inherited my ability to tell the future and my fear of having twins began.......

Since I was convinced I was having twins, I got an appointment with the doctor ASAP. First, we had an ultrasound and it showed an empty sac.  Doc said it might be too early to tell or maybe no baby.... We had to wait an entire week to re-check.
And there it was..... our sweet little baby E2!
